- For a revival in Germany, and a return to a vital faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and a turning away from the current rampant liberalism.
- For the Lord to do a mighty work in Germany and bring many to himself in these latter days.
- For the spiritual life of Rostock and its surroundings. A spiritual battle is raging and the spiritual life of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern hangs in the balance.
- That God would raise up church planters, evangelists and youth workers who are energized by working in this atheistic environment.
- That God would raise up summer teams, Bible college “field placements”, and people who could devote several months or a year to work alongside national leadership.
- For a local job for one of the missionary families in Rostock, who is currently commuting to Hamburg from Sunday to Friday.
- For short termers who would be willing to devote preferable one to two years in Rostock
- For the ongoing work in Southwest Germany amongst the refugees, especially that Tamil church in Frankfurt and the English and Arabic services in Freiburg.
- For the believers among the asylum seekers to stand firm in their faith despite the uncertainty of their stay.
- For more volunteers and full time workers in Freiburg.
- For local churches, that they be more open and caring to foreigners.
- For the bookstand ministry, that the Gospel will be spread among Germans as well as foreigners

Albania's Communist dictator, Enver Hoxha, proclaimed his country to be the world's first truly atheistic state. Under Hoxha's rule, Captain Berti Dosti was one of the elite who served on a communications team monitoring Albania's borders for American incursions. However, this diligent soldier left his country unguarded for 15 minutes a week as he regularly tuned into Trans World Radio's broadcasts, ultimately becoming a believer. Had he been discovered he would probably have been shot. Yet this young man with a growing faith continued to listen and would later pioneer the rebuilding of Albania's wrecked society.
