ECMI offers opportunities for longer term service in the 19 countries where we currently work. ECMI longterm personnel requests: Update January 2011

Albania

• Lushnje/Durres - couple required to share missionary load with established couple.
• Lushnje – couple required to spearhead village outreach (all aspects) and for church planting.
• Lushnje - couple required for social outreach, men’s or women’s work and care giving.
• Tirana - couple (Age 25-40) self starters required for student outreach, evangelism and discipling (not linked with Tirana church).

Austria

• Linz - couple or single (M or F) required for evangelism, discipleship, and mentoring, student ministry (Age 20-35) and / or ministry to a wide variety of immigrants.
• Krumpendorf/Moosburg - couple required for contact evangelism (inspiring and training others).
• Krumpendorf/Moosburg - couple required for contact evangelism (inspiring and training others) and for children’s evangelism; start and run children’s clubs
• Krumpendorf/Moosburg - single (M or F) required for children’s evangelism; start and run children’s clubs.
• Carinthia and Upper Austria - General requirement for church planters and evangelists to assist church plants and smaller churches in outreach.

Croatia 

• East Zagreb, Sesvete, Dugo Selo - 2 couples and 1-3 singles required to join the teams of Croatian Baptists Church & international missionaries in normal church ministries that create a ‘presence’ around which new churches can be started; church planting & church leadership.
• Novi Marof - couple & 2 singles required to create a ‘presence’ around which new churches &/or church leadership and church planting can start (*join the Croatian Baptists & international missionaries)

NB: Specialeducation, theology, Bible College, cross-cultural training required. Croatian just be learnt but can be done on the field (present team speak English &German)

France

• Gien - 2 couples & single (M or F) for pioneer outreach and evangelism in order to plant a new church.
• Loches - 2 couples & 2 single (M or F) for pioneer outreach, evangelism and social outreach in order to plant a new church, under the leadership of a French missionary.
• Romorantin – couple required for evangelism and pastoring of a growing young church (with old roots).
• Le Mans – La Ferté Bernard – couple required for evangelism in a satellite church of Le Mans which needs further expansion.
• Central France -1 person (M or F) or married needed for administration, communication and Webmaster, to develop MCE-France by promoting MCE in France.

NB:  Fluency in French isrequired but the first year in the field may be spent language learning.

Germany

• East, including Mecklenburg-Vorpommern – couples and singles required for outreach, counselling, church planting and development.
• Southwest – couples and singles required for refugee ministry, counselling, literature work, church development for foreigners.

Ireland

• Another location in SE Ireland- couple and single (M or F) required for developing a new outreach location, pioneering church planting (able to relate socially and evangelistically).
• Waterford – 2 couples (or e.g. 1 couple and 2 singles) required for developing a church plant, who need to be able to relate socially and evangelistically.
• Both locations could involve children’s and youth work, preaching, evangelism and social outreach.

Italy

• Around Lake Garda - 2 couples or singles needed for pioneering church planting in small towns with no evangelical witness, with support from ECM missionary teams in nearby cities.

Kosova

• Peja - couple needed for leadership, training and village outreach (Age 30+) and experienced  organiser & a single (M or F) needed for social outreach and children’s and youth work (care qualification or children’s/ youth work experience preferred).

Poland

• Rabka - two couples and single (M or F) required for church planting (1 Polish).
• Podhale Region – two couples needed for evangelism and church planting.

Portugal

• Mora: Alentejo – couple or single (M or F) required to work together with an existing church planting team in outreach to rural communities in Alentejo, including personal evangelism and youth work.  Bi-vocational ministry encouraged to give credibility in local community.
• Faro, Algarve – a couple or single (M or F) required to work as part of a team partnering with local churches and the Portuguese Bible Institute (PBI) in planting new churches among Portuguese residents of the coastal region of the Algarve. This would involve personal evangelism and discipleship together with some lecturing at PBI.
• Lisbon – a couple or single (M or F) required to work as part of a team partnering with local churches in the metropolitan Lisbon area in planting new churches (including personal evangelism and discipleship).
• Coimbra – a couple required to join an existing ECM couple in a new church planting initiative, in partnership with local churches.  There will also be an emphasis on student ministry, focusing on either personal evangelism or personal discipleship.

NB:Portuguese required for all of the above.

Spain

• Castellón: Alcora - one couple & 2 singles (Age 25-45) needed for church planting. Special education, training or theology required; Fluent in Spanish or keen to learn, Valencian (open)
• Castellón: Sant Joan de Moró - 1 couple & 1 single – needed for church planting. Can work together with Alcora town above as they’re close+Sant Joan de Moró is not too big (*same requirements as Alcora above)
• Castellón: Province for rural outreach (smaller towns together i.e.: Betxi, Ribesalbes, Lucena, Figueroles) two couples needed for pioneer church planting, personal evangelism, discipleship & visitation, children’s  and youth work and help with various yearly activities (e.g. Summer activities).
• Córdoba- Pedroches - two couples needed for church planting & single (M or F) needed for administration and church work in the Drug Centre Office in Pozoblanco.
• Drug Centre - couple (retired) needed for the Centre’s maintenance / domestic work & single (M) needed to monitor the Drug Centre (practically minded/DIY).
• Drug Centre – single Psychologist needed to work with people undergoing drug rehabilitation.
• Alto Guadalquivir - two couples needed to develop work in the areas of discipleship, evangelism and team building.
• Campiña - two couples needed for church planting and extension evangelism into surrounding  towns & single (M or F) needed for youth ministry.
• Subbetica - two couples needed for church planting and extension evangelism into surrounding towns.
• Alto Guadiato - couple needed for church planting and extension evangelism into the surrounding towns & single (M or F) needed for discipleship and leadership training.
• Field Ministries Team Administrator – a couple are required for administration, finances and hospitality in Camarma, Madrid to assist the ECM European Director of Field Ministries.  In addition, the couple will be involved in the church plant at Camarma according to their spiritual gifts. 

NB. Spanishlanguage command required for ALL & theological/missionary trainingexpected from all apart from the retired couple.

Sweden

• Kiruna / Gällivare area - couple and single (M or F) needed for pastoral work (one to one) and part-time tent making is preferred.

Location unspecific (but preferably the Netherlands)

• Part-time (20 hours per week) IT support worker to assist Facilitation Manager in IT and communication issues for the mission.
