Jerry Parsons

God has given me a heart for missions and I love seeing what the Lord is doing throughout Europe.

Jerry grew up in a Christian home in Lubbock, Texas, and became a Christian at age 9.  He is married to Dale and will celebrate 50 years of marriage in 2016.  They have two grown children and 10 grandchildren.  Jerry has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Texas Tech, where he was active in many student organizations.  His doctorate is from the University of Northern Colorado.  Jerry taught and was a school administrator in Jefferson County Colorado for 6 years.  The family moved to Palmer Lake, Colorado, in 1973.  He was an Elementary School Principal for 16 years and Business Manager for 8 years.  He retired in 1997.  While working for Lewis-Palmer School District, Jerry taught an adult Sunday school class for 25 years in the Little Log Church in Palmer Lake.   After retirement, Jerry and Dale ministered with the International School Project (Campus Crusades – Jesus Film) in Siberia, Russia and Chisinau, Moldova.  In 2001, Jerry began serving with New Hope International as a Ministry Coach and member of the Leadership Development Team.  He served in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, and Ukraine, and presented material at New Hope International Conferences.  He has also served as Interim Director of NHI. His wife Dale, using Skype, has been mentoring a Christian lady in Eastern Europe since 2010.  Both are active members of Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs.
