Victor & Bia Biscaia
We long to see families transformed through the Gospel with all their members growing together as disciples of Jesus Christ.
They have been involved in church planting in Mora, a small town one hour east of Lisbon in the Alentejo Province, while at the same time managing a small computer business in the town. During the first 10 years in the life of the church plant (2000-2010), the picture has not been very encouraging, with little lasting fruit and many setbacks. However over the last year, they have begun to see the Spirit of God working in some key families, and they believe that God is building his church.
Their ministry is based around personal evangelism and discipleship, and their activities include giving religious education classes in schools, and youth and family activities. They have recently launched the Mora Ministry Centre project, based on a rented premises in the town, which will enable them not only to hold regular services of worship there, but also to extend the range of activities and services they might be able to provide to the community.
