ECM was founded by prayer. In a night of prayer in 1904, the Estonian Ganz Raud was challenged by God to reach the peoples of Europe with the gospel.

PRAYING FOR UKRAINE
Ukraine continues to suffer the heavy toll of war, and our workers there are carrying many burdens. Your prayers make a real difference—bringing encouragement, hope, and God’s peace into a difficult situation. Each Saturday at 3:00 am EST / 12:00 am PST, friends from around the world gather online for one hour to pray for Ukraine. Even if the time is challenging, you are warmly invited to join whenever you can.
