The war has torn down many houses, we are building them up.
Thursday 02 February 2023 17:57 Watch this beautiful video that shows David James' visit to the housing project. Thousands have lost their home in the war, and many of them are Christians in need. Now, we are building houses for them in partnership with the Irpin church. Hear their stories!
The long-term devastation of the war keeps affecting millions of Ukrainians, such as lack of housing, food, and clothes... Responding to that great need has become the main focus of our help, sharing Jesus in words and in action.
One of our main projects takes place in Irpin, a city that saw some of the worst battles of the war in Spring. Hundreds of houses were destroyed by the bombs, leaving thousands without a home. Now, the cold winter has made their situation even more serious.
In collaboration with our partners in the Irpin Bible Church, we are building houses for Christian families who have lost their own. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and we want to be part of God's provision to their lives. The price for one house varies between €13,000 and €20,000 for homes between 35 and 50 m2. We can build a house in 3 weeks with, and they can work on several houses at the same time.
