Believing and Belonging
Monday 26 August 2024 11:16 In December, an ECM church plant in Dugo Selo, Croatia, applied to become part of the Croatian Baptist Union. Their application was recently approved, and the church is officially the newest church in the denomination!
Since May, the group of about 25 adults and 10 children have been meeting every Sunday morning. This summer, they had a church picnic with nearly 50 attendees-mostly friends and family of the church members. For the church leaders, it was a blessing to see this growth from a humble home group to a thriving church family with a leadership team and worship team.
“I am so grateful to God that people want not just to believe, but to belong,” Kostya Bokanov said.
A small group has also been meeting together every Tuesday evening for the last seven years in Vrbovec. This summer, two new families have joined that gathering as well.
Let us pray for the work in this area of Croatia. May many new people hear the good news and know that they too are invited to belong to the family of God. Thank God for the families who are committed to each other, this community and the Gospel!

Who Is Coming Through the Door?
October - 21 - 2026 11:54 Please come in. The door is open. There’s coffee on the table, people are arriving, and there are conversations happening about Jesus. Every Saturday, Lemuel and Rachel open their home to their church family — and to people who are still searching. Come and meet some of them. full story4 in 1,000
